Water Quality Requirements

For proper UV performance, incoming water should meet the following specifications:

• Maximum Hardness: 7 grains per gallon (120 ppm)
• Maximum Iron: 0.3 ppm (mg/L)
• Maximum Turbidity: Less than 1 NTU
• Minimum UV Transmittance: 75%
• Water must be visibly clear (not cloudy or murky)
