The unique quick-connect design allows the elbow fittings to swivel a full 360 degrees before tightening. This gives you the ultimate flexibility to approach the water treatment system from the ceiling, floor, or wall while keeping the appliance tight against the wall to save valuable floor space.

Plumbing Compatibility Guide

The universal thread type acts as a gateway to virtually any pipe material used in modern residential plumbing. You can easily adapt this fitting to:

• PEX-A / PEX-B Tubing: Transition easily to flexible PEX lines by threading a standard 1" Female NPT x 1" PEX adapter (such as a crimp barb or a PEX-A cold-expansion fitting) directly onto these plastic threads 
• Copper Pipes: Connect to copper lines using a 1" Female NPT threaded brass adapter. Note: Always sweat/solder your copper lines to the adapter first, allow the metal to cool completely, and then thread it onto the plastic Clack assembly to avoid melting the composite material.
• CPVC & PVC Piping: Use standard 1" Female NPT schedule 40 or schedule 80 female adapters to hook up rigid plastic lines.
• Corrugated Stainless Steel: Thread flexible water softener connector hoses directly onto the male ends for a quick, vibration-resistant setup.
